We couldn’t be happier with our experience at edQuisitive Montessori Stone Oak (Spanish Grove Academy). Our almost 4-year-old son has been attending for some time now, and the growth we’ve seen in him has been remarkable. The bilingual program is exceptional.
As a native Spanish speaker who works full-time, I wasn’t able to provide enough Spanish exposure at home. The school has filled this gap beautifully. His vocabulary in both English and Spanish has expanded significantly, and his confidence and independence have grown tremendously.
Ms. Alicia, his main teacher, has created a nurturing environment where he thrives. Ms. Sara (Head of School), Ms. Dakota (Admin), and Ms. Eloisa (Office Manager) are always accessible and helpful. His substitute teachers, Ms. Eva, Ms. Elena, and Ms. Nicki, maintain the same high standard of care.
If you’re looking for a bilingual preschool with dedicated staff, strong communication, and a true commitment to child development, I highly recommend edQuisitive Montessori Stone Oak.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire SGA team for their dedication and commitment to the care and attention they provide to our children. A special thank you to Miss Maya for her incredible dedication and care for Leo. Every time he enters the classroom, he feels supported and well taken care of, and at the end of the day, he always leaves happy and smiling.
I would also like to extend a special recognition to Miss Julia for her thoughtful care in preparing meals for our little ones, ensuring they are nourished and happy. And a huge thank you to Mr. Luis for creating engaging musical and physical activities that bring so much joy and learning to the children.
Additionally, I want to thank Miss Sylvia for her valuable assistance to Miss Maya, and Miss Letty for her wonderful support in the afternoons. Your efforts make such a positive impact on the children’s experience.
Our son has only been at SGA for 4 months, but it has been a great experience thus far! This is our first time with a child in school, and since Day 1, his teachers have been AMAZING!
Ms Sara, Ms Gisselle and the entire front staff (Ms Eloisa, Ms Dakota, Ms Stephanie, Ms Palacio) — have always been so kind, patient and understanding.
Ms Maggie and Ms Eva, thank you also, for welcoming us (with open arms and extra patience) — to his new class!
Special shout out to Mr Luis and Ms Julia for the extra love you’ve poured into fun music, gym time & nourishing meals every day! SGA is such a blessing. – Shiloh’s mom
Since day one our daughter has thrived at SGA. From the moment we stepped in for the tour, we felt like SGA was the perfect setting for our little miracle. The entire staff welcomed us with open arms and each day we can see the love they have for our girl. We are so appreciative of Ms. Letty, Ms. Maggie, Ms. Julia, and Mr. Luis for always being so kind to our family and more importantly, for loving our daughter. Merry Christmas to everyone at SGA. You are all so appreciated!
Our son loves Spanish Grove. He has been blessed with wonderful teachers and administrators. Mrs. Letty, Mrs. Sarah, Mrs. Maya, Mrs. Stephanie, and Mr. Louise make learning so fun. He also likes spending time with Ms. Dakota, Ms. Nikki, and Ms. Eloisa before and after school.
We can’t forget Mrs. Julia, the chef, it surprises me daily to see all the yummy foods that he has been served. We are so grateful that we found a place that loves him, just as much as he loves them.
Happy Holidays to the best teachers a parent could ever wish for their child! Special recognition to:
Mrs. Maggie – for tailoring her teaching methods specifically to each kid. Our daughter’s love for mathematics is due to your enthusiasm.
Mrs. Eva – for fostering a safe and cooperative learning environment. She exemplifies patience and our daughter is kinder and more curious because of her efforts.
Mrs. Elena – for her calm presence and gentle guidance.
We are so happy that our son is attending Spanish Grove Academy, the teachers and staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. They made us feel welcome from the very start. We were very nervous when we switched daycares that our son wouldn’t adjust, but by day two he was smiling and excited to attend school.
SGA is so much more than a daycare, the Montessori program has been so helpful in my child’s development. His curiosity has increased and he is becoming more independent (20 month old). We are a bi-cultural family, and making sure that I passed down the gift of speaking two languages to my children was extremely important to me and that’s why we chose Spanish Grove Academy. I would 100% recommend to any family looking for more than just a daycare.
Such an amazing school. My daughter has impressed me on a daily basis how much she is retaining. We speak Spanish and English at home, but she never wanted to speak Spanish. Since going to this school she’s loving speaking Spanish and constantly asking what different words are! 100% worth everything!
I’m going to try my best to express how happy we are at SGA. After having my daughter at home with me in a bubble for the last two years, I knew it was going to be hard for me to leave her somewhere. I feel so lucky to have found a school that I feel 100% confident leaving her each day. She LOVES school.
She talks about her teachers and cries on the weekend because she wants to go to school. She has learned so much!! The director, Ms Zamora, is wonderful, and I just can’t even say enough great things about the front office staff. We love everything about this school. I can’t recommend SGA enough!
We love everything about SGA, its a great atmosphere for children to learn and thrive, teachers and staff are not only knowledgeable, but sweet and caring, their curriculum is perfect and established with the children’s needs and goals in mind.
My oldest started when he was two, he is now doing dual and doing great, he was reading at SGA before he started Kinder. My youngest is still attending SGA, she loves going to school, we are amazed at her progress. When we drop our children at SGA they feel like they are going to see family and this sense of love, security for us is priceless.
Spanish Grove has provided a platform for our child to develop social skills in an environment where they are encouraged and challenged. The principles of Montessori and dual language curriculum are all that we could hope for our child.
We have 2 children in the PreK 3 and 4 programs at SGA. We love EVERYTHING about the school! All teachers and staff greet us every morning and afternoon with warm smiles and hugs for our children. The curriculum is the perfect balance between academic and fun.
Our 5 year old can recite The Pledge of Allegiance in English and Spanish! Amazing! Our kids run to their classrooms every morning to see their teachers and friends and we have no doubt that the children are safe and being well cared for. We look forward to sending our youngest there soon!
Everyone is very caring here. From the teachers and staff till the owner herself. Our son loves the school and so do we. An unique feature of the school is the spacious gym, great place to substitute outdoor time when the heat of Texas makes it impossible to spend time outside! Great school. ❤️
My grandson went to this school. Love the caring staff that works here. My grandson was speaking Spanish in no time. He was watching Dora the explorer in Spanish as if were in English. Totally surprised me. He lives the staff and misses his friends dearly every time he has to go home. I’m happy he’s happy. Really recommend this school if your thinking about a bilingual school. ❤️❤️❤️👍
Spanish Grove Academy is an excellent school for my little girl, she loves all kinds of teachings and stuff they learn every week. The dual language and all the activities for the kids are superb. The staff and teachers are the best!
We love this school! We recently moved to San Antonio and this was the best decision we made. Our daughters adapted well and they loved going to school everyday. Their teachers and staff are so loving and made our daughters feel so welcomed. We also liked their dual language program, (we speak spanish) so this program helped our daughters learn english and reinforce spanish at the same time.

Ms. Maya has exceeded every hope we had for a teacher.
She takes the time to connect with Piper in the most thoughtful ways like kneeling down to talk to her eye-to-eye, offering patience when she’s overwhelmed, and celebrating her wins, big and small.
Her kindness shows in everything she does. She is understanding, gentle, and endlessly supportive, and her communication with us has been incredible.
Our daughter struggles in the mornings but has grown to enjoy school because she feels so safe, seen, and truly loved in Ms. Letty’s classroom.
Thankful for her patience, creativity, and the gentle way she helps her bloom! Ms Letty is the best!
My son has been going there since April of this year. As a first-time mom, I was a little nervous about enrolling him, but it was the best decision we made for him! He is always welcomed with open arms.
We are so grateful for all the staff and admin who care for him. We are truly grateful for his wonderful teachers, Ms. Sara and Ms. Giselle. We are also grateful for Ms. Dakota, who was his teacher when he first started.
My daughter has been at Spanish Grove Academy for 2 years now and has been very happy and enjoys going to school. The teachers and staff are wonderful and we have loved watching her grow and excel in the last 2 years with the Montessori program.
We especially love that they have small group sessions with Mrs. Maggi for focused lessons and enhancement. And of course we love my daughter’s primary teacher, Mrs. Alicia.
My son has been at Spanish Grove Academy for one year. He has thrived immensely. I just wanna acknowledge Ms. Maggie for her diligence and effort in helping my son improve on his counting, eating and overall pleasant behavior.
So grateful for ALL of the wonderful teachers at Spanish Grove Academy. I think the hardest part of motherhood sometimes is dropping your baby off at daycare, but Spanish Grove has made this process much easier on me.
Especially in the beginning when my daughter had severe eczema irritation allergies. Over the year we have been in Spanish Grove Academy I have had no worries or fear that Maia is in great hands when I am at work.
We love Spanish Grove Academy! Our son has been attending since 18-months of age and he is now 3 years old and still loves going to school daily! Our baby girl also just joined last month in the infant room and could not be happier and is thriving.
Every single teacher, admin, staff member makes us feel welcome and cared for on a daily basis: Ms. Sara, Ms. Letty, Ms. Conchita, Ms. Julia, Ms. Maya, Ms. Sylvia, Ms. Dizah…
